Therapeutic Approaches

How I work

01 · Depth-oriented

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy offers a space to explore the deeper, often unconscious patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others. By understanding these underlying dynamics, you can develop greater self-awareness and create more fulfilling relationships.

Drawing on psychoanalytic theory, this approach examines how early experiences and attachment patterns continue to influence your present-day life. Through the therapeutic relationship itself, we work together to uncover blind spots and develop new ways of being.

02 · Trauma-focused

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain naturally heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. Using bilateral stimulation, EMDR allows you to reprocess difficult memories so they no longer carry the same emotional charge.

This approach can be particularly effective for those who have experienced trauma, anxiety, phobias, or other distressing life events. Many clients find relief more quickly than with traditional talk therapy alone.

03 · Experiential

AEDP

AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) is a transformational approach that harnesses the healing power of emotional experience within a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship. Rather than simply talking about feelings, AEDP helps you directly access and process core emotions.

This approach recognizes that we all have an innate capacity for healing and growth. By working through emotional experiences in a deeply attuned relationship, AEDP helps undo the effects of painful experiences and unlock your natural resilience.

04 · Values-based

ACT

ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) helps you develop psychological flexibility — the ability to be present, open up to difficult thoughts and feelings, and take action guided by your values. Rather than trying to eliminate painful experiences, ACT teaches you to change your relationship with them.

Through mindfulness practices and values clarification, ACT empowers you to build a rich, meaningful life even in the presence of pain and difficulty. This approach is particularly helpful for anxiety, depression, and navigating major life transitions.

05 · Skills-based

DBT

DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) provides a structured set of skills for managing intense emotions and improving interpersonal effectiveness. Originally developed for complex emotional difficulties, DBT skills are now widely used for a range of challenges.

The four core skill areas — mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness — offer practical tools you can use in everyday life. These skills help you respond to difficult situations with greater calm and clarity.
